Lugh

Lugh

Amy Ho

The Gorse bush or Furze as it is also know as, has been associated in Celtic Mythology with Lugh, The God of light and brightness therefore symbolising light shining through difficult and dark times. A symbol of hope, faith, love and luck.

Recognisable by it's spiny branches and brilliant yellow, edible flowers this is one of my favourite plants to notice on my walks. Handy little snack too if you get peckish.
